The tour of our facility involved the following areas:
  • CAE Room - A crash simulation and some part designs were on screen to show the President what we do there.
  • Metallography Lab - Our electron microscope contained a steel sample and was zoomed in and out between 100x and 9000x just to show some of the capabilities of the microscope.
  • High bay - We had different steel samples and parts available for comparing various steels and grades.
  • Mechanical Test Lab - Short descriptions were given at each machine to give the President an overview of our testing capabilities.  Many test samples were laid out so positive and negative test results could be shown.
